NRG Hair Booking and Late Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all appointments at NRG Hair, regardless of the service size or type.
Booking Fee Policy
Card Capture System
New Security Measure: Instead of requiring a booking fee upon reservation, NRG Hair now utilizes a card capture system. This method securely stores the client's card details as a precautionary security measure.
Charges: No charges will be made at the time of booking unless the client falls under the Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee Policy.
Other Benefits: Clients may opt for contactless payment in the salon at their convenience, pay in installments over the phone.
Alternative to Card Capture
Clients who prefer not to have their card details stored may choose to pay 50% upfront. This is not an additional charge but a prepayment toward their service.
Purpose of the Policy
This system ensures fairness and operational continuity by safeguarding against losses due to no-shows or late cancellations. It mirrors practices in industries such as booking a hotel room, balancing respect for clients and protection for our business.
Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee Policy
Notice Period
The notice period for cancellations or reschedules has been increased from 12 hours to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Fee Details
Charge Application: If a client cancels, reschedules, or fails to show up within 24 hours of their appointment, the card on file will be charged.
Fee Amount: The fee is 50% of the total services booked.
Clients Opting for Prepayment
Clients who paid 50% upfront will not receive a refund if they cancel or reschedule within the 24-hour notice period.
Rescheduling Impact: Any movements within this period result in the 50% payment being retained by NRG Hair.
Payment Options
For Card Capture: No action is required unless the late cancellation or no-show fee applies.
For Prepayments: Payments can be made using cash, card, Afterpay, or a secure online payment link.
